Getting to Know Tyler
Managing beef cattle is no small feat – it demands daily labor, attention to detail, and a deep connection to the land. Few understand this better than Tyler Flynn, the rancher behind the popular YouTube channel, Farmer Tyler Ranch. Operating a small beef cow herd and hay operation in Northern California, Tyler brings viewers along for the ride, sharing everything from routine chores to major ranch projects.
In 2024, LS Tractor USA partnered with Tyler as a Brand Ambassador. Since then, he’s posted over 10 videos showcasing how his LS Tractor helps him tackle daily tasks with ease and efficiency around the ranch.
Tyler had been farming and raising cattle for many years. His journey into content creation began in 2018, encouraged by his wife as a way to supplement their income and allow her to stay home with their first child. Drawing on video editing skills he picked up in high school, Tyler began documenting life on the ranch. Though the channel started slowly, Farmer Tyler Ranch has grown into a trusted source of both entertainment and education, now boasting over 875 videos and a loyal following of more than 146,000 subscribers.
The Day His Life Changed Forever
Before Tyler received his 2024 LS MT7101 tractor, ranch operations were successful, but far from comfortable. He relied on three open-station tractors, leaving him exposed to sun, rain, dust, and bugs, and often had to wear a mask. With severe allergies, hay season was especially miserable.
That all changed when his new LS Tractor arrived. Featuring an enclosed, air-conditioned cab, radio, and air-ride seat, Tyler calls it “the day my life changed forever.” His daughter affectionately named the tractor “Big Blue,” and Tyler wasted no time putting it to work– mowing pasture until 10 p.m. that night, enjoying the powerful lights and bug-free comfort.
He no longer has to worry about allergies during hay season, and he is able to move and feed hay bales in the rain. “You don’t really think about how nice having a cab is going to be until you have one”, Tyler says. “Since getting the LS, everything has become much more comfortable, which may not sound like a huge deal. But the thing is, when you’re more comfortable, you get a lot more done.”
Handling Ranch Chores with Efficiency
Comfort is key – but efficiency is essential. Tyler needed a machine that could handle every aspect of ranch life, and the 100 hp LS MT7101 delivers. As the largest tractor LS sells in the U.S., it can replace all three of his previous machines.
With a front-end loader capable of lifting over 5,100 pounds, Tyler can now tackle tasks he couldn’t before. From feeding and breeding cattle to pasture management and structural maintenance, the LS MT7101 has proven itself time and again.
Tyler promised his followers he wouldn’t become a walking advertisement – and he’s kept that promise. His 100 Hour Review of the LS MT7101 video showcases the tractor in action: planting, cutting, raking, baling, and storing hay, mowing, aerating, spreading manure, and more. Tyler believes in putting the tractor to work and letting it speak for itself. One standout moment? Using bale spears to lift and carry three 520-pound round hay bales at once – tripling his efficiency.
Even in 103 degree heat, Tyler stays cool and productive thanks to the tractor’s air-conditioned cab.

How Does the LS Brand Compare?
Tyler’s verdict is clear: LS offers unbeatable value.
“You can look at a different brand and you’re getting 100 hp and a cab- but you will most likely spend more. LS gives you more tractor per dollar,” he says. His advice? Visit a dealer, take a test drive, and compare for yourself. “I think I know what decision they’d make.”
Tyler believes LS builds a solid product and backs it with great people. If you want to see “Big Blue” in action, head over to Farmer Tyler Ranch on YouTube and watch how this machine handles the demands of real ranch life.
